2013 ENERGY SUMMIT TO BE HELD IN TULSA, OK – OCTOBER 17


September 30, 2013 — OKC, OK — The International Energy Policy Conference, Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs and The Energy Advocates are hosting the 2013 IEPC Energy Summit on Thursday, October 17, 2013. The Summit will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Downtown Tulsa, OK.

“The date of the Energy Summit, October 17th, marks the 40th anniversary of OPEC’s launch of the economic challenging Oil Embargo…Today, our Nation stands at a crossroads. The Energy Summit will address how we can take action,” states Mark A. Stansberry, IEPC Conference chairman and founder. The first conference was established and held in 1992.

Speakers that have confirmed thus far include: Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt, Oklahoma Corporation Commissioner Patrice Douglas, Tulsa Mayor Dewey Bartlett, US Congressman James Lankford, Kurt Abraham, Executive Editor of World Oil magazine, and Bob Tippee, Editor of the Oil & Gas Journal. There will be a Tax Panel and a Regulatory Panel.

There will be an awards luncheon during the Summit that will honor outstanding energy leaders and is featuring U.S. Congressman Mike Pompeo as the luncheon’s Keynote Speaker.
